Now tell us that the police were called ,seen your bruises ,and broken door ?

Yes, I called the police as soon as he started banging on my door and yelling. He was gone when they arrived. The damage was evident. The police officer took pictures of the damage to the door and frame, took my report, took pictures of my arm (it was really red and purplish at home, by the time I got to the hospital it was bruised so there are 2 sets of pictures) had me go to the hospital to make sure my daughter was ok.

Well then YOU can not drop charges , so the DA dragging his butt in hopes it will go away is untrue .

I could have stated that more clearly. The DA said my ex is drawing it out in hopes I will drop the charges, he has had the date changed for court several times , the DA did say this time is the last thankfully. I think it's ironic that court will be on April fools day.

Well they said despite my evidence (police report, receipts, pictures, contractor statement, etc) that it was his word vs mine, they said until either of us could provide further evidence then it was dismissed with out prejudice. I'm stunned, the officer that came took the report was stunned, the DA was stunned. Heck my ex was stunned that he got off.

We had agreed in family court that his family would provide transportation for visitation because we can't stand each other and he scares the poo out of me. He suddenly decided he would transport. I don't want him to come to my home, I'm actually scared of him. I can't find the court order it was in and my lawyer said it was an agreement made in court (according to his notes), but that it was still binding. The state troopers said that given our history and his of domestic abuse it is not appropriate for him to pick up at my home. Trying to figure out my next move.

I am not sure if this can be done but would calling the police and asking for an escort be viable at pick ups and drop offs?

Might actually work, if they can/will. To me this merely looks like a new way for my ex to harass me and make my life harder, sick of the games.

You can request that all pick-ups/drop-offs occur at a local police station or other public place. I know if I was in your place, I would prefer a police station, but the choice is up to you.

You can get that added into your court order, as long as the judge agrees with it.

As far as StepMom/Dad's GF goes. Ignore the blogs. I am a SM and I can honestly say that I write things that I wouldn't want my SK's Mom (or anyone else) to see. Even if she publishes things online, she may just be venting. It doesn't mean she is saying anything to kiddo. Be the bigger person and ignore it. I know for a fact that Mom has posted things about me online. Do I care? Honestly, I don't give a flying fruit loop what she wants to write or talk to her friends about.

another good suggestion i've seen, was the library. it's more noticable for someone to raise their voice. and it get's noticed very quickly.
