What is the name of your state? CA

I won't rehash everything that I wrote about here 2 weeks ago (I imagine you can search for it) and things are progressing but I have a general question...

If 2 consenting adults conceive a child and the woman's pregnancy (I was told she had a miscarriage), birth (including no father's name on the birth cert) and life of the child is intentionally kept hidden from the father (in my case for 11 years), is it a possible crime? I view it as a moral one, but it is it a legal crime to withhold this information from the father? Not that I hope my situation ever gets to that point, but it would be good to understand things better.
