It's been more than 3 months after satisfying my mortgage. Unfortunately, within the first month I recieved ONLY the original promissory note stamped "PAID IN FULL" and did not recieve any other form or document relating to paying off the mortgage. I checked with the records office and the deed of trust has not been released. I would like to find someone deal this matter for me so that I know it is taken care of in a reasonable amount of time, but I do not know who to go to. Any suggestions?

I guess the forum is kinda slow? Anyways, I figure I need to talk to a lawyer that deals with real estate. I guess I'll go from there. This may be a big deal considering the results of an internet search on the trustee.

Well, yeah. It's Friday evening/night. Folks are out at HS football games, eating dinner with their families. It's a lovely fall weekend in my part of the country.
