What is the name of your state? NJ

We are motioning to vacate a default judgment against Discover. Question is can an IRA account be seized while we file our motion? We have an attorney working on it but I wanted to ask.

It depends on the IRA account. NJ has the following 'Pensions and Retirement Benefits' from judgment seizure:
ERISA-qualified plans. Funds exempt for public employees. IRA exemptions for conventional, Roth, education, SEP and SIMPLE plans.

Thanks for the reply. It's a conventional IRA. Where specifically is the site you quote from? Thanks again!
