What is the name of your state?tx
Just before filing if someone moves to a new apartment/home and signs a 1 year lease, will it have any impact on filing?
Also, what is "Bankruptcy Estate"? Is it different in ch13 and ch7?
Thanks,

No, it should not have any impact on filing.

The Bankruptcy Estate is basically everything you own. On the day your case is filed, all your assets become the 'bankruptcy estate' - to be administered by the BK Trustee.
