What is the name of your state? California

I have a friend who's boyfriend of 5 years just got done with a 4 year sentence for strong arm robbery. He was sentenced in San Francisco, ca where they were living, and she has since move to Sacramento and has been living here the last 2 years. He got out in Feb/2003 and was placed on Parole. My question is he wants to move in with her in Sacramento and have his Parole transfered to the new city. What are the chances and conditions that will allow him to be able to do this? I have searched the CA website's and they are NO help with listing and Q&A's for this type of question. Thanks for the help in advance!

my husband was paroled to Contra Costa county and we live in Sacramento.
you have to have the PO help him to fill out a 602 form requesting the change and with some good reasons for the move.
Be prepared though, Sacramento usually is "closed" to this kind of procedure and it takes diligence to make it work. also, I have found that the Parole Officers in Sacramento are much harder to deal with than in the Bay Area but if it's worth it to you than good luck.
