My Deepest Apologies

It has come to my attention especially this evening that there are a few posters around that are not only rude but just down right mean and I want to apologize to anyone that is a new poster and their only advise is coming from these people. There is a difference between bluntness and rudeness. I appreciate bluntness for I'd rather be told the truth flat out or get a candy coated lie. However I nor anyone else just by simply asking a simple question should be degraded. If you are one of the people who have received this advice please be aware that most are not like that and don't let it deter you from coming back.

This has been an on-going problem for as long as I can recall. The two most recent of these posters are one and the same. Not only are they not very nice, but they also are not very intelligent. They get confused as to which name they logged on with and re-visit a post using their other name. Don't worry, they'll tire of their childish game in time.

What the heck happened to these boards??!! I went away for a few months and *POOF* all hell breaks loose, I don't see IAAL as much, haven't seen LB1 & 2... Home Guru.... MySonsMom... I keep wondering "WHERE THE HELL AM I?!" , or if I'm even in the right place anymore...

Hey, I've been here (except for a couple of weeks out of town last month), and I'm not sure I even know. Dear IAAL is posting less frequently for sure, but at least he's still here. LB pops up every week or two on one or two posts, but LB2 left us several months ago. Think she tired of the hassle and she decided to devote her time to a support group she started or became involved in. Sure miss her--what a gal! HG was always more active on some of the other boards, but you always knew he was out there, and given the right spicy post, he'd chime in. MSM sadly is in the process of filing her own dissolution. She still posts once in a while, but I'm sure she's very busy. Other old timers post from time to time, but there's a real loss of the old camaraderie

I've noted your more frequent posts and I love seeing you back. Hope you and your daughter are doing well.

My daughter and I are doing very well, she's on honor roll this year!! We have a two bedroom and she's with me every other week. Her father and I agreed on shared custody down the middle. I moved back to the original county where they live and have a pretty good job. Scarily, her father and I are getting along great! He even dropped support and let the past arrears go, so now there's no support collections (even though I wasn't too far behind).

The best thing is that even her sister is able to come for visits, since her mom is out of the picture... so now my daughter has someone to argue with other than me! LOL...

I'm continuing to learn more of the laws and hopefully I'll be able to help someone out there like y'all did for me!

Ukiah, you earned every little thing you got and more. I know you are one of IAAL's biggest stars! I'm so glad your joint custody is working well. How good of you to move back to that area to make it work. Good job!

Hey all....I didn't leave permanately....I still lurk here and there. Yes, been very very busy. I moved and started a different job that I absolutely despise (sp?). On the other hand, I have a shocker for all of you......My hubby and I got back together. I had purchased all of the paperwork for the divorce and decided (after deep thought) that my family was worth another shot. So my hubby and my step son moved in with myself and my son. It's going GREAT!

I have so much catching up to do on these boards...I have SO missed you guys!

Well, I have I finally found some honest "posters"? I have been posting for about a year and lately have been getting ticked off at some of the responses that are given. When people write here to lay out their problems they really don't need bashing. There are a couple I am aware of, and wish the moderator could boot them. I will be loking for you all, I already have the utmost respect for ALawyer and Home Guru, I have noticed Vincent too - seems like a good guy. Just wanted to introduce myself.
