his ex wife will not let him see jalyn she is 4 yrs old and had a very close bond with her father he has not seen her in 2 years and it kills him everydaythe mother is refusing to let him see her or talk to her we r afraid she wont want to see him becouse her mother tells her he dosent love her and stuff the have joint custady and she has been in catempt before for not letting him see her he is behind in chils support thru no fault of his own the courts were going to give him full custady ayt the divorce hearnig but he didnt want to take her away from her mom he was trying to be civil now she wants him to sign over rights what can ewe do ?
 


There is no "we" in this...YOU can do nothing. YOU have no rights. But your husband...HE:

1. Could not wait two years and then talk about what a great Dad he is. If he was so "devastated," he wouldn't have waited more than two weeks!

2. Could pay all his child support up-to-date, and continue to pay on time and in full. There is NO excuse for not supporting your child.

3. Could file another contempt of court citation if she denies visitation.

4. Could show up at the court-ordered time for visitation pick-up accompanied by a nice police officer.

5. Could file for custody based on Mother's refusal of visitation.

As for her request that he "sign over his rights," that isn't going to be allowed by a court unless there is an adoptive father waiting in the wings...and he's not going to be "forced" to do it. He can tell her to go jump in the lake on that one.
