the car seat issue is definetly huge, and I would make sure they were in one before they ever leave your house or else I don't feel you have to let them go.

Let's see. . . . . . . .
I'd scan and print 2 copies of the picture, cause you'll want to save the original just in case you end up in court.
Cut out his thingy-majig, and mail one to him and one to his GF.
Write notes in each.
Her note, something like:
Dear Chippy,
I obviously already had this and it wasn't worth keeping. I don't want it back.
Your stuck with it now. Good luck, you'll need it.
His note, something like:
Dear Dumb-Azz,
I'd appreciate you keep this to yourself. Should pictures such as these take place again, I will be forced to do to you the same as I have done to the picture.
Oh, I could have fun with this one...........................

CJane said:Agreed. However, if it came down to an agreed upon visit, and she refused to let the kids leave because dad didn't have carseats, she'd look pretty bad in court.
It's called co-parenting for a reason. And honestly, if dad only has the kids a coupld of times a year? Mom should offer to provide the car seats, coats, clothes, etc. He shouldn't have to run out and purchase all of those things for two growing boys that he sees so rarely.
