Oh. It's her.

5 YEARS later and she's STILL trying to screw over Dad AND the kids? How ... lovely.

She started longer ago than that. Every thread with the children was about how can she deprive dad of time.

It is from 2009 and she is whining that she doesn't trust dad and thinks he MIGHT kidnap the children. Never once did she state he ever hid the children from her but whatevs. She is a liar and working hard at alienating dad through every trick in the book. I wish dad would come here so we could help him fight against her lunacy.

OP - your boys are quite old enough to manage their hygiene and schoolwork. Hold them responsible. The sleeping arrangements are not so horrid as to take time away from Dad. Really. Even for a month in summer. Get over it.

A 4000sqft house with only 4 bedrooms? Weird.

Our house is 4500sqft. Formal living room, formal dining, game room/library (with foosball, air hockey, XBOX, movie projector, and 2 gaming computers, and a fold out couch), informal living/dining/kitchen, laundry room/mud room, 5 bathrooms, and 7 bedrooms.

There are 8 kids in this family, from 8months to 21 years. We would have to have SO MANY MORE PEOPLE in order to begin "stacking children like cordwood". Those boys aren't sleeping with Dad because they're forced to. They're doing it because they WANT to. And yes, you're overreacting. By a LOT.

I wouldn't necessarily call it weird with only 4 bedrooms, there are some pretty big houses with not so many bedrooms. I call it weird that there are only 4 bedrooms and any of them are as small as dad's bedroom is described.

Ok, I'll grant you that. In our case, only one of the bedrooms is as small as described. And even at that? 10x12 isn't THAT small of a bedroom. It's the size of my bedroom growing up - the one I still sleep in, with my 3 kids - when I visit my Mom's house.

My point was more to the fact that in a house that large, there is PLENTY of room for the kids to spread out IF THEY CHOOSE, and EVEN IF there are no available bedrooms.
