What is the name of your state? arkansas

My ex only has to pay 45.00 a week and is 4000.00 dollars behind , we have been divorced for 5 years. He only sees our daughter about once every 2 or 3 months. I need to know if there is any way for me get his federal and or state income tax seized to help pay some of this back support he owes. Or is there anything I can do without hiring a lawyer I really dont have the money to do that. I have tried to get child support through the state but they are no help what so ever even though he has 2 other cases with them already. This man is just a deadbeat without any thought to his children, he had his fun making them and now doesnt want to help take care of them.

did you know this?

alabama---I am currently going through this with my ex, and he is in arrears of $10,000.00---if you tried through the state then either the district attorneys office or the state attorney generals office still has some record of this, I would again aproach them and explain to them that you want to procede with the "Deadbeat Parents Punishment Act of 1998" if you enter that title into your browser you'll be able to pull it right off of your computer. Make sure you've met all the criteria, I know jail seems awful harsh (NOT!) but in my mind, if he wont pay one way, he can damn sure pay the other way!
I wish you all the best of luck:)

Thank you both for the help I will check out all options. I actually got to talk to someone at CSE today so maybe they will try to do something after all but I really don't hold out much hope there since I have been hounding them for over a year already. Thanks again
