What is the name of your state?WA

Our local Seattle District Office does not do the fingerprinting until after the interview for green card (based on the marriage to the USC). However, I also applied for EAD...and am wondering whether they will still call me for fingerprinting sooner and will use those for the interview too?
Could someone please tell me how it usually works? Thank you!

The two have nothing to do with one another. When you are eligible for the EAD, they will either mail it to you on the basis of the filed I-765, if you filed one, or they will call you in for an appointment to issue one to you. The fingerprints associated with the green card interview are for the green card itself and will not be expedited because you need an EAD. The processing times for the green card interview at the local USCIS office can be looked up on the USCIS website, although these are approximate processing times and are subject to change.

But they will also call you (in writing) to do biometrics for youe EAD as well. If you did this, check the document to see for which form it applied to.
