What is the name of your state?
MO
I found a car on auto trader and i contacted the dealer. It is a 1995 Mustang GT with 76xxx miles. I asked him why it had low miles and he said he got the car from a auction. I bought the car with a "AS IS" and he took the car to "his" inspection place to get it checked. The man didnt even take the keys, he looked at it and said it was ok. Later i found out that the car had been wrecked and has over 3000 dollars of damages. The cars front right tire is about to blow out. I can not drive the car because it is un-safe. I need help on what i can do. I didnt think a dealer can sell a car that wont pass inspection. Please help. Email me at keebler85_04@yahoo.com

I don't do email. Although I doubt it will change my (eventual) answer:

1- What exactly costs $3k to fix?

2- What exactly did you ask the dealer about prior accidents and repairs?

Answer

The 3k damages are: straighting the frame, and all the suspension has to be fixed, there is a page full of damages that are only visible, the 3k is only visible there is some damages that will cost more that they didnt write cause they didnt look hard. I asked him about the car and he said it was a good car and nothing was wrong with a clean title, but it has a salvaged title.

If the damage was from "visible" items, then I'd say you're probably out of luck. The damage was just as visible to you as it was to the dealer. Unless he outright lied to you in response to a specific question about the car's damage, you have no case for fraud.

Well

I thought is was not legal to sell a car that is un-safe. He knew what the car went through and he still lied and said it was a good car. His people passed the car when they shouldnt have. There is also damage that is not visible alot of it. It is not a safe car and i could say my life was at risk because of the distance i drove to get it and it wasnt safe.
