Father of my son and I recently split. My son lives with me and attends Pre-School. Ex and I have a verbal agreement ONLY at this time that my son is to live with me, attend school, and he sees him on weekends as his schedule permits.
Due to recent events, I have decided the verbal agreement isn't worth a grain of salt and if I let my son go with him on the weekend, he doesn't have to bring him back as there is no custody established. Yes, he has threatened me on cell twice in past 2 weeks that I will never see him again and just last Friday threatened to drive over here and end it all. Not sure what that meant but he claims he was mad and didn't mean it. Whatever**************
I would like to have a Visitation Schedule prepared stating he must return my son to me on Sunday. Can this be done by me, he sign, I file at courthouse? Does this NEED to be completed by an Attorney or Paralegal and signed by a Judge? Both of us are attempting to spend as little as possible on legal fees since we both agree the current arangement is working but also agree it should be in writing since I can't trust him as far as I can throw him at this time due to the threats whether credible or not.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
