What is the name of your state?NE

Court date is June 24, because of lack of knowledge of my rights, I am just now demanding complete validation from asset acceptance. I am sure that I will not have validation by then.

When do I request an extension? Should this be done before the court date or should I request it at the hearing? I am thinking I should send a validation letter to both Asset Acceptance and their attorney, is this correct? Do they both need to be certified, or just the one to the creditor.

I know I ask alot of questions, but this is a real learning experience and I am quite naive still.

All help is always appreciated.

They can bring the validation in court. You need to make sure you are there. Asking for it there and them producing it there. If they don't have it, then it would be up to them to ask for an extension or let judge rule with that as your defense.
