Uhh not a woman but thanks anyways. Didn't think I indicated I was female...but apparently I complain like one since you assumed I was.

Bigot, that's a strong label based on what I believe is a legitimate concern because like I said several times, there was Italian organized crime in this area....which typically use businesses such as concrete companies, waste management, or construction as a front. Maybe I've been watching too much Sopranos lately but better safe than sorry.

I guess they're all bigots at the airport too when they give special security attention to individuals who fit the background of those who have executed terror attacks.

Yes you have been watching too much Sopranos. You are a bigot. Try moving to Hudson or Stow. You won't find any ethnicities there -- oh wait, yeah you will. Seems like the whole country is dangerous. And don't get me started on profiling. Oh yeah, do, because quite frankly that is bigotry as well.

And I wouldn't call this dribble. These are the laws that we are all expected to follow...laws that this business is knowingly violating. But I guess I have no right to peace and quiet and uninterrupted sleep because I said they are Italian.

You are a bigot. You are prejudiced, ignorant and bigoted and you don't seem to care how pathetic you sound.

Signed,
A zip who started life on the southside of Youngstown

I am not a "bigot", and thank you for diverting this thread completely and ignoring all of my concerns based on a single sentence.

I see you are an attorney, I feel sorry for your clients if this is how you help them.

How do you get off assuming I have problems with ethnicities? I am an ethnicity...I said before I'm half Polish/half Russian which are just other types of European ethnicities just like Italians. I'm Jewish too. But go ahead and ignore that and keep harping about how I was concerned an Italian construction company might be mobbed-up.

Being from Youngstown yourself surely you cannot be that ignorant of this kind of thing?

I just don't flip out and act all offended if someone DARE suggest a stereotype might be based on realistic experiences. Lighten up, Christ.

And yeah, maybe I went about this the wrong way but keep in mind this all stems from THEIR selfish, illegal, and oblivious actions that affect my quality of life and enjoyment of my property. Thought this was what this forum was for....I am SOOO sorry I was ever afraid of reprisals based on actual things that happen in the world.

You have not shown that the neighboring business is doing anything illegal.

You just proved your ignorance more succinctly. I knew if I mentioned Youngstown, your true colors would show because you immediately jumped to conclusions. Question: What ethnicity am I? What color am I? What did I do in Youngstown? Who are my family? Who do I know in Youngstown? Just because you are Jewish or what not doesn't mean you aren't a bigot. Try looking at the definition of bigot and bigotry.

I am sorry that you don't know how to act like an adult and approach individuals like an adult and behave maturely.

There comes a point in a mans life when he has to get up off the coutch, walk down there act like your not scared of the name of the man, the name of the business, the reputation of the stereotype, act like an American citizen and face your fear, in the face.

Go down there, say ""hey, you have a car thats alarm goes off sometimes, and I am extremely sensitive and require complete silence every minute of everyday I cannot tolorate an ocasional blare of a car alarm... could you please take care of the problem"" Now, if the person you are talking to turns and returns with a bat, then you will have something to be scared of. Most likely he will tell you, "Sorry, we will try to take care of that... then blow you off". Then if in the future, you do have to complain in court, at least you have gone down there with your complaint and tried to settle the matter between adults.

Why you think you are a big enough threat to them because you have a complaint, you are being paranoid and ridiculous. After you have gone down there and tried to handle the situation like the man you really should be, and nothing is done, you may take another step.

What are you going to do, take them to court to sue them for an issue you NEVER brought to their attention, with no proof that this is even happening!!! Do you know what decibel the alarm is? and how do you know the car ISN'T being broken into? If the whole neighborhood is as scared as you think they are who is going to back you? You have your name and address on the court complaint, you have gone to COURT to confront some most likely really not so bad guys, without so much as a certified letter to make your complaint known. !!!

You are over reacting and need to put the sopranos dvds down and go find someone to talk to at the business about the alarm, and a psychologist about your irrational fears of Italians.

If you don't mind the distance, there is an excellent psychiatrist by the name of Ben Sobel in New York - he has experience with "the Mob"

Good grief! Go talk to the people already! (“Hey, I don’t know if you realize that there seems to be a car alarm problem. It’s kind of annoying; especially when it goes off in the middle of the night. Do you think you could check into it? Thanks so much.”)

Quit being such a scaredy cat and go meet your neighbors.

You're right it all sounds laughable but I'd prefer not to take the chance of poison spread in my yard. Property disputes can turn ugly and I do care about my pets. Read about the whole mcafee thing in Belize
