What is the name of your state? Arizona, but may move to Nevada.

I was wondering what the laws are in Nevada for employee rest periods and meal breaks, if any.

Also, since very few states have any laws governing this, can you tell which states do have laws re rest breaks? I know California is one (my homestate for almost 40 years :D ).

From Nevada's DOL web site:

Rest periods are based on the total hours worked daily at the rate of 10 minutes for each four hours worked. An unpaid meal period of 30 minutes of uninterrupted time shall be authorized for an employee working a continuous period of 8 hours.

As far as the other States, sorry but time doesn't permit my researching this at 48 different DOL web sites.
