What is the name of your state? Oregon-Live in Washington
Purchased 2003 SUV. Signed papers, started to get in truck and decided to walk around the car to check for any damage prior to leaving lot. Found scratches on left rear quarter panel. General sales manager identified damage said bring it back and it will be fixed. Two days later I found a softball size paint blemish on drivers door and fifty cent piece size paint chunk missing from the middle. Take to dealer. They will paint door and gave me credit for accesories at parts counter. Three days later I notice that the bumper has been damaged. Take to dealer, after a lengthy argument they agree to replace bumper, not just paint to match.
Today 10/02 There is a vibration that makes steering wheel and door vibrate (nobody else in vehicle so I don't know if it vibrates elsewhere.) Dealership called today and the bumper they got in (which they are taking off a new car and putting on mine, note to anyone buying a new car: some sucker will get that painted bumper) is damaged as well. They said they will look for another because they knew I would not except that.
Bottem line I DONT WANT THIS POS ANYMORE. An attorney will contact me tomorrow (friend of a friend). Anyone have any advice or has anyone been through this BS. Oh yeah, the truck had 400 miles on it when I bought it.
Thanks for any help!!
