Hi all,
Being in the UK I am unaware of the law regarding responsibily and content of a membership submission newsgroup based in the USA..
As a member of a on line virtual community of which I pay a yearly amount. As part of this 3D on line community a newsgroup operated by the owners of the 3D community. This newsgroup require a valid username and a member password. The same username and password to access the main system is used.
The owners state they are not responsible for any discrimaination, this can be rascist, vulgarities and any acts of open discrimination against other users by its users.
I see it that be reason of having to use your username and password to access this newsgroup, the same conditions will apply to this newsgroup as with the on-line virtual system.
The main question is; Are they responsible to enfource discrimation by members against other members?
