niece and nephew lost thier kids

What is the name of your state? idaho

our niece and nephew lost their 4 kids to child protection service(state health an welfare). Because of an unhealthey environment.
The father of 1st child is in prison. Father of the 2nd child is some married man. 3rd and 4th child is buy this present man.
we were wondering if some other family member could be come foster parents to these kids. Adopted or get custody of these kids.
we would like any infomation on this....

I do believe that CPS usually encourages placement of children with other family members.

They will of course delve into your personal home lives in order to ensure it is a suitable environment for the children.

You would probably need to contact CPS and notify them of your desire to provide care for the children in the interim.

If this is the first offense of your niece and nephew, and they have not indicated a willingness to let the children be adopted, it is highly likely that a case plan with the goal of reunification will be developed. This means, the kids will be out of the home for a time, while the parents get their acts together and then the children will be placed back in the homes with supervision from CPS.
