What is the name of your state?TEXAS
Well, i have been working for a company for 2 months I am a part time employee that works about 40/week. My problem is that i am a Shift-leader or a Manager and can count the amount of breaks in one hand that i have had. I am always scheduled to work either by myself or with a csr. Csr's are not aloud to be in the store by themselfs thus not alowing me to leave the store for anything. I usually get a 15 minute break on the clock witch i never get to sit down because im either by myself and busy or the csr needs help right in the middle on my miserable 15 minute break. I work 7 to 8 hour shifts..I wonder if i can do something about this.. Any help will be appreciated and this is a very well known Corporation... Thanks

Unless you're a minor, neither federal law nor Texas law requires that your employer provide you with meal breaks or rest breaks. If company policy is to provide breaks, all you can do is speak to your manager and see if there's a way to adjust the daily schedule so you get to observe yours.

Where you are from doesn't matter; where you are working does. I presume you are currently working in Texas?
