Well, you mentioned calling the DA. Get a copy of the restraining order, then discuss it with the DA. Mediation might be in order .

I have a NO CONTACT ORDER againt my ex-girlfriend (whom I have a child with). He was found guilty of Phone Harrasement and pleaded guilty to the charge. However, he continues to answer the phone and continues to bother my ex when she talks to me and or gets on the other phone stating that he needs the phone when my ex and I are talking about our son. He continues to answer the phone and just speak, as if he knows who it is (caller id). Is he violating the NO CONTACT ORDER?

Belize, Stealth, and senior members please!

My first question is have you tried email? Then at least you can't hear the yelling (or does he intrude on her email also?) Another suggestion is phoning her at her work number, if she works.

Go to the court and get a copy of the order- So you know word for word what it says. It should mention what types of contact he is not allowed to have. ie; physical, telephonic etc. Also check to see if there is any notation re; taping phone calls. If there is, tape them, if there isn't- don't, or ask for hearing to include taping calls and why (describe the interference when trying to discuss issues about your child). If you find that he has violated the order based on how it is written make sure to file a police report of the violation(s). Keep a log documenting each time these things happen. (Date, time, issue you were attempting to discuss, outcome ie; you were hung up on. etc.)

Also, it might not hurt to send a registered letter to her asking that she contact you or you be able to contact her without the husband intercepting calls, grabbing the phone, or yelling in the background and you getting hung up on.
