What is the name of your state? TX

Hi all, I just have a question and hopefully not get anyone revved up... someone gets 274 days of state jail for mtr of possession of a controlled subtance. Will offender get out 274 days later? And, will that be it? As in no more probation or parole?

Thanks in advance!

Yes that is exactly right. In Texas there is no parole or good time credit for state jail. Whatever you are sentenced to you serve that exact number of days, minus any days already served. When you are released you are not on probation or parole for THAT offense, you're done.

Now if you've been sentenced on other charges as well you still have to deal with those when you get out.
