What is the name of your state? NY

About 4 years ago, when I was 17, I was arrested for possesion of counterfiet currency. They gave me 5 years probation.

About 4 months ago, (while still on probation) I was raided as part of a secret service sting, for credit card fraud charges and identity theft charges.
I was released on $50,000 bail and put on house arrest.

I've been hoping that probation wouldn't find out about the new arrest, but they just did, and gave me an appointment for a violation of probation hearing.

Does anyone have any ideas about what may happen ? Or what I can expect ?
I am using a court appointed lawyer for the secret service case, and public defender for vop. Any advice will help, I'm looking for anything. Opinions on how much time I might due for the fraud case, if any time , and what I might expect at the vop hearing. Thanks in regards. Please email me at pirate1@tmail.com or call me at 917-971-9568 or just reply here. Thanks so much

Were you placed on probation as an adult or minor? What did the terms of your parole state your sentence would be for violation of said parole?

I love it. On probation for counterfeiting and his e-mail is "pirate1@....". Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

But seriously, how many credit cards were there? was it using a stolen physical card or trafficking in hundreds of stolen card numbers through ICQ? How much money was charged to the cards (both by others and allegedly by yourself). Does the identity theft accuse you of claiming to be someone else during a CC transaction, or are you accused of having SSNs and banking details of people? Were physical fake IDs involved?

Panzer, I was placed on probation as a minor. They didn't say what would happen if I violated my probation. I think it was to be at the judges discretion.

Randomguy, the "pirate" in my email does not relate to anything it is a random word. to answer your question, it was both hundreds of card #s transferred online, and physical cards in my posession. Along with a bunch of blank legal documents which were not supposed to be in my posession. I think the identity theft is in regards to me posessing other peoples info. Luckily I had no fake ids.

Thanks for the replies, please keep them up.

I suspect you will be serving the balance of this (i.e., whatever is left on your sentence).

I am assuming you did not report your arrest to your PO; that probably sealed your fate right there.

Dude, my best advice is to make your PD your BEST friend! (If you cannot afford a private attorney.)

It sounds to me like you are in trouble and need to pay close attention to your case and start some research regarding the varying degrees of sentencing for this crime, in your area.

I know you came here for answers, but you should try to get a private attorney if possible. People seem to work harder when YOU are the one paying them. Not making disparaging remarks re: PD, just being realistic. You sound like you have a plate full...

Thank you for your words panzer. I'd love to get a private attorney but the feds seized all my money.. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what a realistic amount of time I'm looking at might be. I'm 22, if that matters. Thanks in advance.
