This has happened to my sister in law. She delivered her 2nd babty at the hospital in our City. It was her due, and she called her doctor, her doctor arrived at the delivery room 2 hours after she delivered her own baby. So, its like the doctor did not reaslly helped in the operation, however, bills shown that her ob gyne claimed payments for the operation. Next day, the doctor advised her that she's okay and she can already go home. Third day in the hospital, she was discharged. We were wondering why each day, she became weaker and weaker. After a week, we rushed her to the hospital. The whole placenta did not come out during delivery of the child. And yet the doctor has been paid, and has released her.
Is there are way we can sue this ob gyne ?The records at the hospital are confidential. We asked for a copy, but, they are not releasing anything.
