What is the name of your state? Massachuseets

The subject header of your post refers to NYC. Please explain the apparent contradiction.

i was walking from the store

What does "walking from the store" mean? What store?

and an officer approached me

Why?

and put hes hand on a carryon bag i had and found an open container.

I've never heard the term "carryon bag" (or "carry on bag") used in a non-air travel context. What does it mean in this context? An open container of what?

i really think i did not deserve the charge

Why?

i was walking from from the private seating i was were i consumed half , the bottle of water was emty. the juice bottle had some juice they did not even look or touch then there was also

Huh? "Private seating"? In your original post, you wrote that you were "walking from the store." You now seem to be contradicting yourself.

Why would anything relating to New York matter given that the OP said he/she is in Massachusetts? Why are you spamming this thread with irrelevancies?

The title says "summons in NYC" so they likely got the ticket based on NYC laws.
Maybe you should be more observant.

I hope Help2025 consults an attorney where he got the summons.
