What is the name of your state?Oh

Does it make any difference if the cp lives out of state when paying cs? She doesn't get any financial assistance from either state. She is taking dh to court for modification and wondering if that would make any difference. She is going through the state of OH for this.

That DH won't have to pay a bigger amt. as opposed to someone that lives in state. Equal and doesn't matter where she lives?

the ncp could certainly file to try to have some of the expenses (if he actually has any i.e. mom isn't paying for transport) related to visiting figured in when calculating his overall support obligation, but he needs to ask for this in court, cse won't just apply it in their review

DH and I are in Ohio, she's in Oklahoma with the child.
Support modifications should reflect Ohio's guidelines since you are the NCP.

EDIT: also, who moved and created the distance?

She is the one that moved but that was several years ago.
Was a different visitation agreement signed that addressed long distance? It's common for the parent who created the distance to pick up the additional expenses that come along with traveling.
