What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?new jersey
I got a dwi in Ny 4/23/ 05. they revoked my privlages there for 6 mo
I pled guilty and have court on 05/23/05 to pay fines and comply with ddp classes imposed at sentancing. What will N.J. do since I have N.J. lisc. and
what do I have to do next? N.J. has yet to contact me and I still have my actual lisc. Can I drive in other states then N.Y. untill N.J. notifys me?

Well, considering the fact that today is 4/24/05 & your post was on 4/23/05, that would mean that you got your DWI yesterday.........Hmmmmmmmm!!!
Can I drive in other states then N.Y. untill N.J. notifys me?

Since both states are members of the NRVC (Non-Resident Violators Compact) and the DLC (Drivers License Compact), your DWI will likely be 'noticed' to NJ and your license status and points affected accordingly.

Yes. Your 'suspension' only applies to your driving 'priviledge' in New York (for now). Until such time as your license is suspended in your home state, you can still drive there.

Thanks for the info, you were perceptive enough to see the date was a
mistake. It was actually a month earler, my bad! seems like some folks have too much time on their hands and nothing but contempt for other peoples difficultys. It must be nice to be perfect, I wouldn't know.I'm just trying to find out what to do to clear this up and move on without causing more problems. Thank you once again for your time
Peace Kat
