What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OH
I had a question about liability. I am a mother of 2 grown children, and have been the family cake baker for over 20 years. I do not charge to make cakes for family or friends, I do it for pleasure only. I was approached by a friend with a request for an anniversary cake for a party of about 25 people. I have not said yes to the request until I was sure about my legal obligations. Against my repeated suggestions to change the filling from "peanut butter" to another type of more eater friendly filling, she insists on peanut butter. What type of form do I need to present her, so that I am protected from any liability of food allergy reactions? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
