I have a question, how can protect my identity best while writing and publishing controversial materiel under a pen name ?, what steps can be legally taken to make sure that no one ever finds out who I am ?

Don't tell anybody your pen name and do not use any sort of equipment or means of transmission that can be tracked or traced or learn how to cover your tracks so you cannot be traced back to the source.

The problem then is; how to get the material published by somebody. Anonymous has been pretty successful with getting their statement published and remaining anonymous. I suspect they are techno savvy enough such that they know how to avoid being traced to a source computer.

What is the name of your state, diadem, or, if not in the US, what is the name of your country?

There is no way to stay anonymous, if someone is intent on finding out your identity. There are just ways to make it more difficult (time-consuming and expensive) for someone to find out who you are.
