AS far as I know the employer can flag your name / past records with a code that says' not recommended for further interview eligibility' just so long as you are not flagged for some discriminatory reason like age, sex race et al ....and perhaps veteran status if that agency has a mandatory veterans preference as some do in PA.

OP! Get on with your life and apply places that better fit your abilities and expectations ....

People here really like to jump to conclusions without reading things, it started with Quincy and yet here we are again lol. For the umpteenth time, they had a different much better opportunity that paid a lot more and would make it worth it to suck it up. But at any rate, I think we are all done here so this thread can be deleted or closed or whatever they do here...
