What is the name of your state?
california

About a year ago I signed a contract that got me stuck in a personal management situation with a man who seems very unlegitimate. It ties me in still for a few more years, but as far as I know hes not licensed by any means, if he doesn't havea license of some kind would that get me off the hook? Thanks in advance.

The reason no one has replied is simple. There are absolutely no facts in your post with which to form an opinion on anything.

Are you an athlete or celebrity? The fact that he is unlicensed may or may not be relevant depending on your state law. Exactly what duties does he agree to perform and has he performed those duties?

An entertainment lawyer or business law attorney can review the agreement and you probably will be able to cancel it.
