What is the name of your state? California
I live in a condo in california. My hoa says I cannot have a pet of any kind period. My CC&R says I cannot have any pets. California Civil Code 1360.5 says as of 01/01/2001 (I entered into the contract in 04/2002) CC&R's cannot prohibit condo owners from having at least one pet. I have two small dogs and want to know if...
1. Can I keep my two dogs despite what the CC&R's say even though the civil code says I can have one animal?
2. civil code say's an owner can have at least one pet. If the hoa amends the rules to allow One dog, will I be able to grandfather and keep both dogs?
