a friend of mine came to visit me from florida( he is from thailand).he works at carnival cruise line,he just finished his contract and been given a permission(he told me)to stay in the US for sometime.now he wants to stay here in the US and asked me what is the best way can he be legalized.is it possible?is there any way?if he stay with me a get caught will i be charge?

If he entered the USofA on a crewman's visa, he is not allowed to adjust status.

right now he is not illegal yet but his visa will expire in a couple of weeks i think.i don't know where he get this idea or what but i'm really concern about it..he said if can't stay with me he going somewhere else.one more thing he mentioned to me once that he know somebody that have crewmans visa married a U.S citizen and now he is legal and a citizen himself is that possible?
