What is the name of your state? florida

:( I really need some help, I'm falling apart and don't know what to do!!! please help What is the name of your state? Florida

My husband found a mistress, been going on for 3 years!!! I have good credit, his is bad. OUr accounts have always been separate. We are christians, and at least 'I" have some convictions and am trying to hold this family together for our little girl. I am 53 with 3 grown children that adore her and all my children are in careers and wonderful productive adults.
I was married young, my X got into drugs, and the kids came first, so he was gone.

I married a wonderful christian man, I thougt, been married for 12 years, gave him a daughter through adoption, I did all the paperwork, he didn't have children. He started cheating when she was only 2 weeks old.
I don't want to stay in this marriage, but because of his "ventures" in businesses, a car, lack of money comming into the household, I borrowed 1,00 to 2,500 a month on credit cards. I rolled some into my mortgage.
stupid me. I have 46,000, it is now 126,000 with 24,000 second and 62 in credit cards. I have had to pay to get him out of dept many times.
He is working now and giving money when he can. how long it will last is unknown. He is a self employed electrician, but only a licence for a handy man. He said he would sign over his rights to his daughter to me but from what I hear, unless I remarry and someone else wants to adopt her, I can't.

my problem is is that if he walks out the door tommorrow, he has no dept because of his bad credit but makes 4,000 a months. But since self employed, good luck. Been there done that. I learned alittle.

My house can be sold but for 150,000, I can't get 1/2 the house here in florida for 135,000 so I can't sell.

I have a promossory note from him for 102,000 that he thinks Is no good and I've thrown away. He is to inherit a free and clear duplex worth 225,000
within anytime. parents are sickly. I don't even know how to attach it or what to do with it. I would gladly sell it for 75,000 to anyone and they can go after him someday.

My son's friends, he a police officer said that dcf can help and pay some of my 1,100.00 mortgage payment, plus make him pay. I don't know who to contact and if anyone has been through this before. He is self employed, and he lies with a straight face. Say's he going to put the duplex into a
corporation so just in case, i won't get it. His dad is just as bad and a deacon to beat at another church!!!!!!!!
what is wrong with these people.
he is a wolf in sheeps clothing, both of them.
has anyone been in this situation, and can they really help with my mortgage payments and what will be the drawbacks. I can't work, I get very bad migraines and would miss 2 days a week or more. Plus , my money would all go for daycare and I homeschool besides.

I really need some number, answers, how it worked for you, anything, PLEASE!! I know it's gross, but I know I have ulcers because of the stomach pain and black stools which I am a homeopathic person and it WAS getting better.

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEee HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Christ
Linda

If he gives up his rights to the child, he will still have to pay child support regardless. By saying he will give up his rights has nothing to do with his responsibilty to the child. He will lose his drivers licence and somtimes his professional licence if he doesn't pay support for the child in the state of Florida.

As far as the martial debt, he is obligated for the matial debt as well. More than likely, you both will have to file bankruptcy. If he owns his own business, you may be entitled to a share of the business assets.

You can try to get spousal support. It's hard to get. If you can show that you were the sole caretaker of the child and you stayed home to care for the child. If you have a medical condition which will not allow you to work. You better get it documented. If you already have done so, why haven't you applied for disability (SSI)? Saying you can't work won't cut it with the court.

Sounds like your husband is a bully and full of it. An attorney will turn him around. Contact an attorney ASAP. If your husband is no longer living in the home, file temporary orders for child support and custody ASAP.

Good luck.
