Well ...this is the second time i write ...the people in this forum really help ...me but I'm still worry...if someone has pass for this ...please tell me what happend to u ...About two weeks ago I was caught shoplifting from a store it was worth $270..but I didn't take all that ..I was with another person ...and they add it ...well...they call the police...and they didn't give me a ticket ..but they call my mom...to pick me up..becuase I'm under age..and make her sign a paper....the police told my mom...that i have to go to court but ...they didn't send anything....Please ..tell me what is going to happend to me .......I have talk to a lawyer and he said ...since the amount is less than 500$....is was a misdeanmor...or something like that ....but ..I can't afford one lawyer...the court have to give a lawyer rigth???....If someone has pass for this or something like this ...please tell me what happend to u....and ...if this will be on your record.????????

well ....is this will end up on my record...do you think will affect my future...???...you know on getting a job....but if they decide to erase it ....???..What should i do

It could effect you getting a job in certain cases, depends upon how your employer would feel about it.
As for it getting erased that will prabably be up to the judge whether or not it will go on your record, but seeing as how your 16 and not 10 and are fully aware of the differance between right and wrong, the judge probably will not let it go. Your not a kid anymore in a few years you will be an adult.

As far as what you should do, face what will be coming to you and after that start being a good kid, get in less trouble, work hard in school, get good grades and go onto college.

Well I reacive a letter yesterday ..of the police and they said i have to go to a program ...not to the Juvinele center...and they told me if i do all of the program ...i will not have to go to a hearing...and i will not have a record...i think i will do all what they said ...'cause...and don't want to go to a hearing neither have a record...what do u said about that letter???.

What gets me is that these kids KNOW that once they turn 18 their records will be espounged. Maybe it's time to revamp some of these laws, eh ????
