Please Help--school Fraud

I am currently attending a technical college and suppose to be graduating in about 8 weeks. When I applied to the school last February there was a different company that owned it. Now it has been taken over by Kaplan Corp. I am from Ireland and when I left "high school" there I received a group certification--like a hs diploma but we don't call it that. Now this corp is saying , 8 wks prior to graduation, that they won't accept it. Although I was accepted into the program and had to show them my group cert in order to be accepted. Please help--they won't let me finish!!!

Are they going to refund you your full tuition and fees that you've paid so far?

I'm hoping it won't come to the point of whether or not they'll refund..A year has gone by and I need to be able to get my certificate, not a refund. I haven't worked while I've been in school, so a year's salary has been lost and I'm a year older!....

Yes but if you make it about the money they may opt to let you graduate instead because it is cheaper.

That's a good point..Maybe we should bring the money into this discussion with the school. The whole point is why was I ever enrolled in the first place if I didn't have the proper paperwork??!!
