And as far as the comment for spreading your legs, that person should be banned from this forum. Sperm does not make a "father". Take care of yourself, take care of your child and do the best you can to see that the child has a "father" in their life, not just a bad male role model. Good luck.

Neither does having an egg, having sex and giving birth make a woman a mother!

In general for everyone:

Because of marriage, if the father doesn't have a right to see his kid, then the mother doesn't either! Stop all this bs about the husband automatically not having any rights whatsoever. THEY ARE MARRIED, THEY CREATED A CHILD AND THEY BOTH HAVE RIGHTS TO THAT CHILD!!!!!!! If every woman is so god d-n against that their kid has a father, go to a f-ing spermbank instead of willingly having unprotected sex. No matter how you sugarcoat it, YOU CHOOSE WHO FATHERS YOUR KID!!!!! and if you spent more than 5 minutes getting to know the man(to find out if he is dad material or not!) before the unproteted sex, no woman would be having this unnecessary problem and create a life time of wondering for their kid.

Amen! I agree... too many parents take becoming parents so lightly... it is so frustrating. I'm glad my kids have a good dad. I choose him. We planned our children and yes, we ended up divorced, but our kids have two good parents.

I have enjoyed reading all advice whether nice or not. I did contact my attorney, who stated that Florida Law prohibits the non custodial parent from removing the child from the county in which he resides in when divorce was filed, so I am protected in that area. Yes, my husband has every right to visit with his son and build a strong relationship ( I strongly support that). My only concern, was him being two hours away and staying overnight at such a young age. Florida law also promotes daylight visitation until child reaches 2, and that I feel more safe with. Sherrifs office of my county also stated that that is the case. I have never kept my son from visiting with his father, just overnight was the problem and leaving the county. Thank you again for all your advice as it did work out in my favor at this time.
