I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO BE POA FOR MY EX-HUSBAND WHILE HE IS OVER SEAS MY ONLY CONCERN IS WHAT AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR? WILL I BECOME RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS DEBTS? HE NEEDS ME TO PAY HIS 3 BILLS. WHAT IF ANY RESPONSIBILITY WILL I HAVE FOR ANY OF HIS DEBTS?

my apologies

very well. i have a question regaurding my liabilities as POA for my ex husband while he is over-seas. i would like to know two things would i be held responsible for any of his debts? would i be able to file a divorce for him from his current wife?

Well, he should inquire about the SSCRA.
He can arrange to have his pay direct deposited into his bank account, many offer online banking and automatic bill pay, all of which can be done with limited internet access. If you agree to be POA you could have access too, but do you really want to take responsibility? DO you have children together?

We do have a child together. I don't mind being his POA. My concerns are for his past debt. Would I be responsible for this? Also what is SSCA?
