What is the name of your state? Texas
We recently moved to Texas from CA. I have a General POA that was signed and notarized in CA (1997 when we were living there) for period of "indefinate". My husband of (31 yrs) was recently dinaogsed with vascular dementia. Question, is my POA still valid and is it good in Texas or should I get another made while he is still compendent to sign one. Everything is in both our names, I don't anticapte anyone would contest it but if the time comes that I might need to make decisions for him I want to be prepared.
Thanks
