What is the name of your state?CA

I was pulled over for speeding late one night in Chico and I didn't have proof of insurance in the car so the officer told me to step out of the car. I sat on the trunk while he wrote the ticket. While I was waiting for the ticket another sherrifs car arrived on the scene. I asked the officer what was the need for back up, in a joking manner and he pretty much just told me to sit there and shut up, because it was just procedure. So I kept quiet, until another sherrifs car arrived. There were five to six officers and three cars behind me for speeding. I asked again, what is the need to cause a scene, getting impatient I just asked for my ticket. One of the officers approached me and told me that the didn't want to see any attitude and he pushed me back on the car. When I stood back up I said, ''touch me again and I'll knock you out." The he got all up in my face darin me to hit him, but I kept silent and put my hands up because he didn't touch me. He walked back to where the other officers were and I stayed sitting on the trunk. They were still writing the ticket and I was still impatient. I spit on the sidewalk and they all looked at me and one of them said that if I did it again they would take me to jail on a misdameanor. I disobeyed, and spit again on the side walk, not in their direction. They came after me and told me to turn around and put my hands on the car. I did that, but when the tried to put my hands behind my back, I stiffened up in a defensive manner and resisted arrest. They wrestled me down and cuffed up my wrists and ankles, while I was cuffed and on the ground, an officer punched me in the face from behind and gave me a black eye. The took me to jail and kept me their over night. My visit was not pleasant. They threw the book at me and I can't afford a lawyer, bummer. funny thing is that it all happened on my birthday.

Your visit wasn't pleasant? Aw, man. And to think, they didn't even give you the padded cell on your birthday. I think you should write a letter to your governor and tell him all about the indignity of it.

First suggestion:

The three cassette tape set "Best way to get out of a traffic ticket, by Rodney King" should be tossed in the trash.

Second (and extremely obvious) suggestion:

Try not to threaten a police officer during a traffic stop and try to obey them when they say do not spit on the sidewalk.

Your ego simply grew larger than thiers.
