Hey... im new to the posting game here... actually i made this account just to see if anyone online could help me... my roomate recently got accused of Breaking and Entering, the police got a warrant to search our home for the stolen items (none of which drug related) and the police didnt find **** to do with a B and E but they did find my bong collection... now the bongs werent on the warrant but they siezed them anywayz... they informed use we could get them back but if we claimed them we would be immediatly charged with possesion of paraphenalia (hoped i spelled that right)... now i was wondering if they could legally hold my bongs and if i could get them back without paying... Ok thanx for any info u can provide... I am located in PEI Canada so if the info was on Canadian laws it would help more... great and thanx again

Bummer dude.
Guess they thought they recovered someone's lost Bong colledtion gained through B&E, just not reported stolen yet.

under the current drug laws it is illegal to own or have anything to do with drug use. that goes for bongs papers pipes stems and needles. so if the police enter your home on a search warrent and find any thing drug related they have the right to sieze it, that includes growing lights and any book that tells you how to grow or process drugs. in michigan you can have your house searched and be arrested if a neighbor walks past an open window and see's you using. been there done that, i was rolling a hand made cigarette and a neighbor saw me and reported me. i had 6 cop cars in my yard by the time i lit the cigarette. they searched my house and found no drugs and there wasn't a thing i could do about it.

Don't yell at me... ok

I am sort of gonna hi-jack this thread. ;)
I am not sure if I am posting in the right place.

Can I sue unknown posters for my gait imbalance. I think I may need to go to a neurologist because I am walking funny. One leg is longer than the other.
It seems that lately it has been being pulled one times too often.

The only thing this guy didn't do was type in all caps to get us riled...
YAKNOWWHATIMEAN..

Pay no attention to these roustabouts. My wife is Canadian and I went to Canada once, so I can help you.

The answer to your question is, "Yes, of course, unlesss, however, the opposite is proven true, in which case the alternative may be necessary."

I hope this clears things up.

Oh thank you

As always Oh Honorable One... you make me see clearly again!

I will sue from Michigan for $10,000
$5000 for the leg
$5000 for pain and suffering for being laughed at.

I should get my money in 15 days ;)

Here is my question. If they were new bongs with no residue, how can they prove you were going to use them for marijuana and not tabacco?
Because there are stores in my area that sell bongs but will only call them water pipes and they will kick you out if you call them anything else.

sungod916...gee, I didn't realize there were so many sun gods?

Anyway, pay no attention to these quacker heads.

Drug paraphernalia (for example) is defined as: "Drug paraphernalia means all equipment, products and materials of any kind which are used, intended for use, or designed for use, in planting, propagating, cultivating, growing, harvesting, manufacturing, compounding, converting, producing, processing, preparing, testing, analyzing, packaging, repackaging, storing, containing, concealing, injecting, ingesting, inhaling, or otherwise introducing into the human body, a controlled substance in violation of the city's drug possession ordinance or the Controlled Substances Act."

http://www.ci.kirkwood.mo.us/admin/city-clerk/ordinances/Chapter_17.htm

Whether this is a stupid law or not, is something I will leave to the legal philosophers to discuss.
