paperwork got messed up that's why I'm not in jail. Look, I almost died.....my heart rate was 172 bpm. BP 157/100 when my mom came in 15 min later my bp was down to 147/97 which is still high. Normal BP for a quad is 90/60.
Okay ... still doesn't change the situation so long as the officers had reason to believe there was a warrant and they did not make the comment with any kind of malice or intent to cause you harm.

If you feel they were out of line, you can complain to the employing agency. If you have been harmed by their actions in some way, you can consult an attorney to see if there is the remotest possibility of a claim and how much it might cost to sue for damages.

So's mine after an intense workout doing interval 200 meter sprints.

Umm, no offense but that's not much different than my own. I think you're overplaying your medical issue a bit.

Don't get so worked up.....

Wouldn't be so bad if they gave you the care you need, but it is substandard, but that's beside the point. It's not that I got worked up about going to jail. I am on complete bed rest due to a buttock wound that started tunneling and went almost to the bone...talking about millimeters, so I haven't been out of bed in a year other than doctor appointments...this happens to me cuz the blood rushes to my feet and causes me to pass out. This is the first time all the other symptoms above happened. If proper care is not given to the wound it will cause the bone to turn black and the bone itself will die. This scares me more than jail does. Would you want to go to jail for some error in paperwork that was not your fault????????? I don't think so, I only came on here to ask a simple question....not give details to people that don't know any thing about quads!!!!!!!!!! Why not google quadrapalegic care and then talk to me.

I'd have been thrilled with a BP of 157/100 when I was in the hospital last summer. Try 210/115. Just to put things in perspective.

Then maybe you should NOT have broken the law. Maybe you should not have been convicted of being an offender. No one has pity for you for your criminal issues.

Not only didn't you "almost" die (you had a frigging panic attack, that's all), the "normal" blood pressure for a quadiplegic is NOT 90/60. The "resting" blood pressure may be this but it is still considered to be in the low normal range even for a quad.

And decubitus are, unfortunately, very common side effects in spinal cord injuries.

I cant get the reply with quote to work on this damn smartphone but I believe Sandyclaus said in response something in this thread about statistics that "63% of all statistics are fabricated". What I'm saying - or I believe Churchill said it - there are three type of lies, a lie, a damn lie, and a statistic. I'm just saying ;o)
