Idaho, It has been over 3 months since conviction. On my judgement it is written to not drink/drugs, pay fees and fines and also to complete counciling recommendations of the Dr who did my pyschosexual eval. I have completed everything except for my probation officer wants me to do a polygraph saying that it falls under counciling. I told him I tought a polygraph would be a verification of my evaluation and that it does not state on my sentencing that I have to get my evaluation verified. Can he still force me to get a polygraph, even though it is not written on the final judgement? Could he ask the sentencing judge to re-write it to include this. Please help, I would like all this to be over soon. Thank you

Lets explore your post for a second. What the heck are you talking about with the above reference?

Your probation officer can request the polygraph and if you refuse then he can violate you.

Simple huh? Now, what are you hiding?

hmmm...so, you were convicted of a sex offense, claimed to be (or were) under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. And now, you don't want to take a polygraph because you don't want to be forced to admit that you are some form of sexual predator, knowing that will stay on your record. It is also probable that your PO read your mittimus, and your file and knows you are not being forthcoming with the psych eval and wants to force the polygraph so a qualified Dr can truly evaluate what kind of threat you pose.

My suggestion? Refuse the polygraph. Go back to jail and by all means go into general population where you will hopefully be quickly served with prison justice. Save us all a bunch of money on your upkeep and protect your future victims. Do us all this favor. Please.

amen & amen illinois parent!

georgia - if you fail to submit to a polygraph (which is part of compliance with sex offender counseling program) you don't deserve to be on the street. only guilty people are afraid of polygraphs.

you are so very lucky to be alive and well and free...
