My ex husband and I were divorced in february and we have 2 other kids. I am now pregnant with his child and want to know when he becomes responsible for this baby? I live on a limited income and need to buy maternity clothes as well as other items. My ex says he is not responsible until after the child is born. Is this true? He has been very abusive in the past and even this week he hit me. I also found out that his much older girlfriend told him she was pregnant and miscarried. I think she was lying! He is no longer seeing her and we were trying to work things out but after the abuse this week and the fact that she was pregnant I don't think it will work. Any advice? Please help!
