my boyfriend is 25yrs older and wants to marryor live together he is widower,retired,has 1 adult married child,1minor grandchild.i'm divorced 2 minor children.he is very financially comfortable has investments for child and grand child and lucrative income(investing).he doesn't want me to continue working if we cohabitate,staes his will is set and doesn't think he should change it.i'm concerned for my retirement if i stop working and my childrens college investments.also as spouse i'll be resp. for healthcare costs while all his assests go to daughter.he wants prenup. but objects to financial disclosure.what should prenup. or pre cohabitate agreement cover to protect me and my kids.What if i continue to work or rtn. to finish my degree during that time?

I am not a lawyer, but I would suggest you find a good family law attorney and review your concerns. It would be well worth your peace of mind to commit to a couple of hours with legal cousel. At $100 to $150 an hour, it would be well worth the advice.

It sounds like your boy friend is willing to have you risk your financial stability without verifying his. Marriage/cohabitation is a partnership and all fact should be on the table. I have never done a deal without full disclosure and you are putting a lot at risk.

He wants his cake and to eat it too! What he is saying is that he wants you at home and ready for him anytime he wants.. like a housekeeper and whore all roled into one. Payment will be via a roof over your head only. When he decides he no longers wants/needs you, then out the door you go with only the cloths on your back.
