What is the name of your state?Missouri

My son got a DWI 3 years ago. The problem is that he failed to meet the conditions of his parole, fines etc. What are his options now?

Well

Use your free consultation with an attorney to get the legal specifics. But, a sentence is a sentence. Probation is an opportunity to get yourself out of a big mess. It beats the hell out of jail. But if he failed his probation, don't expect a lot of sympathy from the court.

If they are petitioning to revoke his probation and he has suspended time hanging over him they could impose this time and extend his probation. I would suggest your son get busy and be able to show the court he has completed all required by his probation before his court date.

Sounds to me as though your son needs a lesson in life and dealing with the court system. The court gave him a chance after the DUI, and he took it upon himself to neglect what they told him to do. I would not be surprised if they don't through the book at him to get his attention in doing what the court told him to do. Whatever his original sentence was, he could face that reality. Courts are not like mothers and fathers, and feel that all it takes to get a childs attention is standing in the corner with time out. I have been through a number of DUI's, and he can buck them all he wants, but sooner or later you will be visiting him once a week in the slammer. Good Luck.
