Probation Violations Please Help!!!!!

I Live in Florida.

I am 17 Years Old.
I Was given probation (untill I complete 160 community hours) for one charge of "grand theft" (not grand theft auto), and "attempt of burglary over a residence". I meet with my probation officer tommorow and I just recently got suspended in school for carrying marijuana and a pipe. Consequently, I got arrested and countered two new misdeameanor charges. Possession of Marijuana and Posession of Marijuana Paraphanelia. It was less than a gram.

Unfortunately, I was allready enrolled in a drug program. I allready had the oppurtunity of an idds program and failed it. I wan't to avoid any detention time at all costs since I'm at a critical age and I'm trying to put my life together.

Realistically, what is going to happen? What do you think will be the result of my hearing? What is my probation officer likely to tell me tommorow? I'm pretty scared and since this is considered two violations and I only did about 10-20 community hours so far, I know I'm at a bad spot.

Any thoughts? appreciate any feedback.

You made a bad call kid.

The court will take this very seriously, especially if you have already been arrested for drugs before. It doesn't matter how much you had, even a little is enough to get you into trouble.

Now what could happen.
You might be looking at some jail time, but that really depends upon your lawyer, the judge and how you represent yourself. (I do know someone that had gotten in trouble with drugs a second time and got off on the jail time)

But what will happen is.
You'll have to pay fines.
They probably will add more community service hours to what you already have.
You'll be drug tested for a certain ammount of time, sometimes months or a few years.
You'll have a probabtion officer
You may get your lience taken away.
Probably drug rehab, or they send you to one of the dentention insatutes.

I'm sorry there is a misunderstanding.

I've never had any drug-related priors before. I was voluntarilly submitted in the drug program by my mother.

So, in your opinion, does detetntion or a residential drug rehab inevitable at this point?

It really depends upon the judge and how he feels about the case. Since it's your first time with drugs, you probably wont get time or wont get a lot of it, however seeing as how your on probation already, that will play a factor into it. The Judge will assign jail time if he/she sees it needed.

Just remember to be honest and up front with the judge and that will help you out a lot.

Good luck

If you wanted to avoid time in detention, you'd have stayed away from the weed. Your drug program has obviously not done you any good. Don't expect a great deal of leniency.
