The first few times I was in court and in front of the Judge it was difficult to present my case. I rehearsed it and prepared for it and everything.
The Judge can take control over it, and start asking questions and it can disrupt your whole train of thought.
Try going in and sitting in the Court room and listen to a few cases maybe 1/2 a day , to get use to the way the Court works, and how the Judge runs things.
Not all Judges run the same way. Some will let you present your case without interruption, others will interrupt and ask questions.
Sitting and listening will give you a " feel " for things. I know that doesn't save the Jitters and lost thoughts and a blank spacey feeling not knowing what you said or where you are, but If you don't remember what the Judge said , Just ask him/her to repeat the question please, or ask where was I ?
Then do the best you can , Study the facts, so you can site them is most important.
