Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too.

Oh, do you think I should add this as well? He just e-mailed me asking to pick up the kids earlier than his regular time tomorrow (which he's saying by the contempt motion is not his). I was thinking of adding this as Exhibit D...what do you think? (I was under the impression by this contempt motion that he felt that this weekend was not his weekend, that last weekend was)

Reply via e-mail saying that's fine. Then copy and file BOTH the e-mails as Exhibit D ...this is yet another example of how he wants to bend the Court Order whenever it suits HIM.

I actually already responded to him, telling him that he can pick them up at his regularly scheduled time - they get off the bus at 3:45, his regular pick-up is 4 pm, he wanted to pick them up at 3 or earlier...something that can't happen because of school. His reasoning is because of the suposed storm we are going to get, which they've said won't even start until the afternoon, and it won't be bad until overnight. So, his traveling won't really be affected. It would be the same no matter what time he picks them up.

I'm adding in his e-mail, though, it just shows that his contempt motion is bogus, and he wants to do what benefits himself only.

Again, thank you for all your help...I do appreciate it!:D

OK, well you can't change the District bus schedule for him. lol Yes, definately file it. The court needs to SEE that he just wants what he wants...when he wants it. And since we are all grown ups and not 6 yrs old anymore, we all have to deal with not always getting what we want.

In the spirit of... accomodation... you may want to email him again, and let him know that if the children are released early due to weather, you will notify him and he can pick them up early to facilitate safe travel for everyone. It's not likely to actually happen, but it goes a long way toward further proof that you're making efforts to meet him halfway on things that benefit the children.

The only thing with that, is he has a 4 hour travel....unless he leaves early enough on the hope that would happen, he'll leave in time for him to travel here for the regular time. Plus, by the time I get out of work and get my stuff done in town before they get home, it's almost time for them to get out of school anyway.

Plus, if I give in to him once, he'll want it that way every time. He's tried that before.
